Gantheaume Point is south west of the township of Broome.
- The first tower was a 47ft open braced steel tower built in 1905 using the lens which was originally planned for the North Mole Lighthouse.
- It was later replaced with an AGA lantern on a new tower in 1917.

- When the Lighthouse was demanned in 1922-3, a larger light was fitted.
- Yet another new tower made of stainless steel open lattice with tube columns was built in 1984 (Ref: Cumming et al)
