- Target market in terms of defined demographics
- Circulation (subscriptions vs organic sales), reach, visitor numbers (hits) or estimated attendance
- Coverage - national or state, metropolitan or regional
- Objectivity of survey and research data
- Specifications
- Rates
- Booking and material deadline
