Microsoft Outlook 97 Setup
This tutorial will guide you through the setup of Microsoft's Outlook 97 email program.
- Open Microsoft Outlook
- Click Tools then Services
- If Internet Mail is not shown you will have to Add it before you continue
- Click Properties
- In the Full Name field type your name as you would like it appear on the e-mails you send
- In the E-mail address field type your iiNet email address in the form: username@iinet.net.au
- Set Internet Mail server to: mail.iinet.net.au
- Set Account name to your iiNet username
- Set Password to your iiNet password
- Click the Advanced Options button to set the Outgoing mail server
- Set the Outgoing mail server to: mail.iinet.net.au
- Click OK to continue
- You will come back to the settings screen.
- Doublecheck your details.
- Click Connection to continue
- Choose Connect using the modem unless you are on a LAN
- Select your connection for iiNet
- Click OK
Well done! You have now setup your program for email.
