Firewalls are useful tools. They can help prevent malicious internet attacks and help to lessen threats on the internet. However the primary function of an Internet Firewall is to prevent Internet traffic. As a result sometimes they do this too well and stop your Internet services that leave your computer!
The following are some links that can help you disable your firewall for testing purposes. If you find that your Internet Connection is not working and you have tried everything else, try disabling your firewall with one of the following guides.
