Sagalord - Mike has a new page of his own soldiers with some links and information, have a look at the Indians that he has done, really lifelike!.

Dogs of War Mike's website Sagalord was one of the first collectors page I saw on the web, and was an inspiration for me to set up my site. he is still collecting and painting, and has a new site showing off his guys. Some ages are still U/C but keep looking out to see what's coming, like I will.

War Horse Miniatures is the latest website that Mike has published showing off his painting skills and information about toy soldiers. He is also offering some of his figures for sale, so check it out.

FLATS - A wonderful set of pages dedicated to flat toy soldiers, the predecessor to the modern 54 mm toy soldiers that I exhibit on my pages. Alexander has an excellent set of uniform pages dedicated to Napoleonic era, scanned form original plates and many images of the flats directly scanned.

Norbert has a gallery of toy soldiers of the 1930s featuring German Troops. There is Hausser/Elastolin and Lineol composition figures. Pictures, identification guides, manufacturers' catalogues, background information. A valuable source for that era.

The Army Men Homepage This is really great fun site which brings back the 'Little Boy' in all collectors, lots to read but it is why we all love making, painting and collecting. Have a look.

Canon Mania - This site has the most complete collection of cannons seen, including toy soldiers and their cannons.

British Model Soldier Society This site has lots of information on Toy Soldiers from around the world and Britain. The largest and longest established association of model soldier enthusiasts. On the pages can be found information on the many and varied BMSS activities and events of interest to military modellers and toy soldier collectors.

Tony Matteliano's Scale Model Index Providing links to 1504 Scale Model Related Sites, a valuable source of links on the web. All sorts of models -cars, tanks, boats, planes, figures.

Atlantic Toy Soldiers Website Carlo Mastrantonio has set up his pages dedicated to is Italian toy soldier company. he has lots of images of soldiers and boxtops. A must if you are an ATLANTIC collector.

Wolf's Scale Model Page this is a Croatian site showing many forms of modelling with lots of interesting links.

Miniature Wargaming Will Scarvie has set up page showing some of his figures, a collection of articles about painting miniatures, wargames, etc. and several game scenarios. Interesting site, with more images on the way soon.

Medieval and Renaissance Toy Soldiers This site has been set up by Joe Bethancourt and features Elastolin and Lineol composition medieval, and Merten line. He has an excellent site with loads of images of his collection, Many of the figures are what is usually termed the "collector" type that he has assembled, modified and painted himself. Take a look at what he's done in the Collector Figures page.

Collecting Plastic Toysoldiers is a site that shows off the extensive collection of David Jones. He has extensive images of his wonderful collection, arranged on pages dedicated to the various manufactures. Airfix, Marx, Timpo, Britains Swoppits, and many more. Have a look at the collection, and see what you too can do!

Airfix HO Scale Figures Eric Williamsons site has a virtual catalogue of those little figures that I used to collect in the 1960's. It has brought back memories after seeing the various box art exhibited, but now I realise why I now only paint 54mm figures !

Wooden Warrior is a new website that shows off the handy work of Charlie Horn, and his brother, who makes wonderful wooden vehicles from wood and Salvation Army finds. This is a fun site that shows all boys love to play with trucks and toy soldiers, whatever their age.

U.S. Navy And U.S. Marine Action Figures are featured on Larry Stitt's pages. He is a retired Chief Petty Officer and has set up a great collection of images of the sailors in his collection. There are many that are unique, this site is well worth viewing for something different than the usual soldiers!

Bands of Model Figures is a Dutch site that features Bands. Walt Bettonvil has images of his soldiers together with some interesting links. if your musical, have a look..

Ancient Armies has a complete list of all 1:72 / H0 ancient period sets of figures. there is also loads of information on the Ancient Armies, so if its Ancients you collect, give this site a viewing.

De Bataafse Militair Guido van den Berg has his Toy Soldiers exhibited on his new website. he has a lot of 7 Years War, Napoleonic troops and many that I have not seen before. be sure to view this new site, and check out his interesting links too.

Maison Militaire Belge is the website of Alain De Vleminckwho is a fellow collector. He has information about collecting, and included some images of his soldiers too. have a look at what's he is doing, there even may be something of interest for sale too.

JBPics is Joe Baker's site that shows off his toy soldiers posed in dioramas and in sets. He updates his site with the latest playsets and shows both painted figures and plastic playsets. Have a look at what he's done.

Model Artillery Here is a very comprehensive listing of model guns set up by George Hogg, so if you are looking for a particular gun, or scale, or manufacturer, this maybe the site to visit.

Toy Soldiers On Parade is a site set up by Rob Glennen, take a look around, at his collection of Atlantic, Benbros, Britains, Charbens, Cherilea, Crescent, Ideal, Lone Star, Marx, and Elastolin figures. I'm sure you will find something of interest.

Toy Soldiers For many years Brian Carrick has been one of the editors of Plastic Warrior magazine but recently he has taken a back seat so that he could start to set up his own website. There are many pages of figures to look at, and admire, just like me, he is showing his collection to the world, its worth a look !

Geoff Duin’s Toy Soldiers Site is dedicated to pre-1966 Britains Ltd. lead figures. Sections include Armies of the World, Bands, Knights, Civilians, as well as a basic Britains identification guide and some Wm. Hocker sets.

Cinco De Mayo Model Soldier is the site set up by S. Brooks Davison. he features many sorts of toy soldiers on exhibition, figures for sale, and much more. Check it out.

Rick King, a fellow collector here in Perth has wanted to show off his collection of soldiers and in particular Bands, to the world. He also show old toy soldiers and a collection of Australians, so have a close look and see what we do in our local meetings, you will even see me !!

The Batavian Soldier is a site from Holland, by Guido van den Berg, with loads of information on Uniforms, and also many links to toy soldiers and websites. The site is multi lingual, so check out what's there.

Napoleon at War is a set set up to show off the new collection of Napoleonic Figures by Del Prado, which come weekly via the news agent, with an abridged version of the Osprey men At Arms book related to the figure. This sits is organised so you can view the opposing armies and allies in their respective arms of individual figures. I am waiting for this collection to arrive in Australia, as its only released in UK & Europe so far.

Figures Journal is the latest website by Norert Schrepf, it is an on-line magazine for toy soldier collectors. It is in German and English language with a lot of service for visitors. There is a sales list contains more than 1400 antique toy soldiers from all over the world and he invites collectors to trade their figures on our website for free.

Maciej Pawlica is a sculptor and has succeeded to combine his interests - history & military and his passion - sculpture. All figures are fully hand made, he uses special plastic material called "modelina" and binary masses "green putty". He makes all figures in pieces, than puts them together with the glue and paints them. Size of the figures is between 80 - 300 mm. most of figures, which he has done, belongs to XVI-XVII century.

Roberts Heraldic Knights has a great website showing of his wonderful knights, both mounted and foot, and Vikings. He also does Conversions, Restoration, Commissions, and has a Painting Service. Tye Roberts, is from Annandale, Minnesota U.S.A., so check out this site and see what there.

Comic Book Toy Soldiers. The site covers vintage Mail-order Toy Soldier sets of all types sold in comic books from 1940's-1980's. I remember seeing them on the backs of comics from the USA when I was a kid, but never managed to get any. James Elliott has established a great site with lots of images of both the comics and figures.

Plastic Toy Soldiers Eddy Robson has a great site with loads of plastic soldiers by British makers of the 1950s onward. If you are looking for the older figures, or want to see what was made them, check it out.

Maciek Pawlica come from Poland and has established a site showing his sculpting. The figures are 80-300mm and wonderfully done, concentrating on Polish history and 16th and 17 century figures. Works of art !!!!

Wildwestfiguren is a new German Language site that is dedicated to Wild West Figures, Yes "Cowboys and Indians" from many makers as well as other figures such as Civil War and other civilians, so check out what Andreas Zauner has on show, and what's coming soon.

Vive l'Empereur is Alain Lastienne's site that shows his collection of French soldiers from the Napoleonic Wars. The figures have been cast and painted by him and some are from Prince August Moulds, both 25mm and 54mm, so check out his work.

Comic Book Toy Soldiers is a web site dedicated to the Classic Mail-Order Toy Soldier Sets found in Comic Book Ads from the 1950's - 1980's... well worth a trip back down memory lane :)

American Dimestore, an online source for 1:43 scale classic plastic vehicles. If you’re a toy car collector, O-Gauge model railroader, or looking for vehicles for your Plasticville Town or Christmas Village you’ve gone to the right place. All of the vehicles are just like the ones you could buy at your favourite dimestore back in the 40's and 50's!

Bill Farmer, Soldier Sculptor has established a comprehensive website showing many of the master figures that he has made for the plastic toy soldier market over the past 25 years. Seeing the many figures he has made, as sculpted masters, the resulting plastic figures and painted ones make you realise the immense skill he has is this field and what he has provided to our hobby with these wonderful figures.

Painted Toy Soldiers is a site showing some wonderfully painted soldiers, and is the store font for a painting service. The site is presently under construction, but keep a lookout for an update soon.

The Painted Soldier shows off the painting skills of Pat Taranto who is a professional artist who has been collecting and painting military figures for the last 30 years. His site shows some of his work, including his favourite period, Napoleonic.

Thierry Goncalves is a collector from Belgium and has established a Web Blog page where he exhibits many of his wonderful collection of toy soldiers which depict Belgian soldiers trough the ages, as well a wide range of colonial troops. This is well worth a visit, and maybe leave a message.

TOY SOLDIER SHOPS AND SUPPLIERS

ATS Toy Soldiers is both a seller of plastic toy soldiers, and also a maker. If you are wanting some unique and finely sculpted American Revolutionary War figures both in plastic and metal, be sure to check them out. Al also has a wide range of plastics for sale, both new, and old, so I'm sure this will be a 'must see' site.

Arquebus Military Miniatures sells lots of toy soldier from the Napoleonic era, American Civil War, Romans and War of the Roses. Great site with lots of thumbnail images showing the soldiers.

STAD'S Toy Soldiers Sell a wide range of plastics and it is a valuable source of what is available on the market today. There is an almost complete catalogue of new plastics with descriptions of the figures.

Toy Soldiers of San Diego Martin has set up his new website of soldiers he sells on the West Coast. He offers a wide variety of plastic figures from many periods. Napoleonic, American civil war, Alamo to
World War II from a variety of manufacturers such as Ron Barzso, Imex, BMC and many others.

Toy Soldier HQ Kent Sprecher has a mail order company selling loads of plastic toy soldiers. He is right up to date with all the latest releases and has a links page to other sites.

Michigan Toy Soldier Co. Here is one of the most comprehensive sites for toy soldiers. They specialize in old Toy Soldiers of all types and also carry an extensive inventory of new plastic, resin and metal Toy Soldiers. If you are into casting your own, there is a page of supplies that you can uses to make your own moulds. Well worth a visit.

STEPHEN NAEGEL - TOY SOLDIERS Here is a site from a dealer in London, Stephen has a listing of Britains Boxed sets, and collectors series. He specialise in the rare and unusual items in the best possible condition available, from the 1880's to the present day by all the leading manufacturers of their day. Britains Military, Farm, Zoo, Garden and Civilian ranges are our specialty.

Valhalla - This shop in Perth, Western Australia can supply OZMADE Figures and Battalion Figures which are both featured on my website. Its my closest shop!

Toy Soldier Recruitment sells collectible and new toy soldiers at bargain prices. They offer some complete playsets, but sell most soldiers, vehicles and accessories by the piece, so collectors can complete their sets.

Stanbridges Another Perth store that I shopped at for about 40 years! They have a huge range of model trains, plains and cars, but I now use them for paint and plastic soldier supplies.

Green's Collectibles Al Green has a new website for a shop in New Jersey, he has loads of soldiers listed from companies including East of India Company, PFN, Marlborough, Britains, Conte, Charles Biggs.

OUTLAND GAMES Chris and Gloria, have a website that shows the miniatures they make and distribute.
If you are looking for 15mm wargames figures, or an excellent painting service, have a look at this site.
Examples of their figures are featured, and I will soon be exhibiting some on my Miniatures page too.

Minutemen Toy Soldiers carries an exhaustive list of products, from 1/72 and 1/35 toy soldiers and playsets, to large scale busts and aeroplane models. It is a very comprehensive store with something to interest all who are interested in soldiers, wargaming, books and kits.

Spillway Toys deal exclusively with the sale, customisation and conversion of 54 mm toy soldiers manufactured by the LeMan's Collection. This collection includes numerous poses and accessories (forts, bridges, tents, walls, etc.) for use in dioramas depicting American historical periods such as the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, the French and Indian War (Trappers, Iroquois, etc.), Plains Indians Wars (Buffalo Soldiers, Indians, 7th Cavalry, etc.) and the Texas War for Independence (Alamo combatants).

TEDTOY has produced a wide variety of Civil War figures and always the emphasis has been on

Unique Collections of Greenwich. Glen Chapman has a wonderful shop, just next to the Cutty Sark in Greenwich, London. In this store you will find all sorts of toy soldiers, from the very latest Premier Range of Charles Biggs, to antique Britains. If there are any figures you want for you collection, give Glen an email and ask him if he has it, as there are boxes of soldiers in his back room, that he just can't display. I paid a visit to his shop in May, and was very impressed with his range of figures.

MKL Modelsis the largest stockist of W. Britains toy soldiers in the UK, and MKL have been supplying quality toy soldiers and models to their customers all over the world for more than a quarter of a century. Lyn Kenwood runs the Guards Toy Soldier Shop in London, and it must be one of the best shops around. Its located in Wellington Barracks next to the Guards Museum, so its close to all the pageantry that is London.

The Armoury of St James is just of Piccadilly, and has a great range of figures ranging from Frontline, Britains, Charles Biggs, and some wonderful Russian masterpieces in the connoisseur style. Together with an extensive range of medals and military artefacts this shop will well worth a visit.

Old & New Lead and Plastic Figures Peter Dale has set up his site for those collectors who are wanting to buy old Britains, Timpo, Atlantic and may others figures. Its a site that has lots to offer, and if its not there just send Peter an email, and he may be able to find it for you. I saw his display at the UK Toy & Model Soldier Show this year, and I know his has a great range of figures.

Foxsoldiers a new web site dedicated to toy soldier collectors. Steven Fox and his team have built a dynamic site that offers an online magazine, a comprehensive selection of new and antique soldiers, exclusive figures and a Collector's Club.

Cottage-Industries.com is a Civil War site that has the most comprehensive listing of Shenandoah Miniatures and a great range of Imrie/Risley Civil War Field Artillery and Gun Crews, and Leaders of the Civil War Miniatures. In addition they have Civil War Books, Testors paints and coming soon a line of resin model kits of the Civil War Navies from "Old Steam Navy". This is a very interesting site, well worth a visit.

NEWBURY TOYS are working hard to become your Premier sources for collecting toy soldiers and military miniatures at attractive discount pricing , careful packing and prompt shipment. They have Britains and King and Country catalogs on-line, with loads of images too.

Rosedale Figurines have historical / collectable figures, Sanderson figures and toy soldier figures on their new website. There are so many figures that i have not seen anywhere else, this must be site to see. Check out the medieval and knights, I love the Saracen Siege figures.

Miniature Zone The main theme of the site will concentrate on 1:72, 1:76 (OO) & 1:87 (HO) scale miniatures, especially those related to the W.W.II period. However other periods will also be covered, and not only figures and AFVs but also aspects such as scenery, accessories, dioramas, painting techniques, conversions and scratch building, etc. Its a must for modellers and toy soldier fans who need lots of background information.

Peter Nathan Toy Soldiers has been selling new and old Toy Soldiers since 1985, and for 10 Years has a dedicated Toy Soldier shop, the last 6 years in the centre of the Sydney CBD where over 10,000 pieces of toy soldiers are displayed. Toy Soldier Company Jenny and Jamie Delson have a very comprehensive website with almost every brand you can think of. Toy Soldiers at the Barracks is Eddie Oates website for his company which deals with British plastic manufactures from the 50s-80s, the main focus being Britains and Timpo. He has recently added an extra page dealing with some smaller makers such as Lone Star , Crescent, Cherilea and others. He always try to provide top condition items and regularly attend the Plastic warrior show and Vectis London shows 3 times a year.

Maitland Toy Soldier Shoppe is Canada's premier toy soldier shop, there is a huge range of figures, many that you won't see anywhere else on the net, so pay a visit.

St. Petersburg Painted Figures Only in St.Petersburg, Russia can this quality of 54mm white metal Mounted knights with authentic heraldry of each personage be found. They are exquisitely hand painted to the highest standards and priced to sell at lower prices than equal quality. Have a look as see what I mean and I'm sure you will agree.

Treefrog Treasures is a leading on-line supplier that sells Britains, King and Country, Figarti, Beau Geste, Manes Marzano Collection, Troiani Historical Miniatures, Shenandoah, Forward March and many more. Maison Militaire is a well know shop in Scarborough, Yorkshire that has a huge range of soldiers, military figures and castings, so check out Ken Jackson's new website.

Hobby Tools is an Australian company that stock modelling materials and caters for many hobby interests including:- scale model building, scratch building, dioramas. Well worth a look if you are creating your own battlefield, and they ship hobby tools worldwide

Military Miniatures Warehouse specialises in the sale of historical miniature kits. Their main focus is on American Civil War figures, Civil War models (naval vessels, siege guns, etc.), diorama accessories, how-to aids, as well as kits from other pre-20th century American history, including Revolutionary War figures, War of 1812 figures, etc. Civil War products come from manufacturers all over the world and are typically made of white metal (pewter, metal alloys, etc.), or resin. Most figures require some assembly, and all are unpainted. They also have expanded their assortment to include painted figures from a variety of historical periods.

Soldados De Plomo is a new Spanish site this one of the best web site about this hobby in the Spanish language and features manufactures including Andera and Army House. They are working to make this site available in English and French languages

The Military Workshop is a new shop in Brisbane Australia. there is a great range of Figures, Prints, Kits, Books and anything Military.

Soldatii & Co is an Italian site, here they offer the best a collection of mainly Atlantic figures and occasionally or on request figures and items of other makes. There are lots of pictures of the soldiers, because people to see what they are going to buy.

Fernando Enterprises is a company in Sri Lanka that is providing a quality painting service for modellers. They paint 6, 10, 20, 25, 54mm Wargamer, Metal & Plastic figures and Zinnfiguren in Wargamer, Collector and Showcase quality at very competitive prices.

Trade Wind Direct is an internet dealer for King and Country, Frontline both HK based company that produce wonderful figures ranging from the Roman times through the Chinese Empire to Napoleonic and WW2 theatres of war. They have one of the most clearly laid out toy soldier online stores, with catalogs clearly identified and complete catalogue listings for their suppliers. The vast majority of their products include

Milmod Hobbies Australia has become one of the largest Online retail stores in Australia & New Zealand. DAVES TRAINS is a new company mainly selling trains....but.....Dave also has some wonderful Russian Toy Soldiers on offer. He has 3 ranges of figures, ranging from toy to connoisseur finish, so have a look at what's there.

TARRANTS TOY SOLDIERS is a new on-line shop selling a range of products from leading British manufacturers, including Mountford, Rank and File, Battlezone and Miniature Tattoo. The Plastic Front The all new online store for all your Army Men and Plastic Toy Soldier needs. They have army men from many different time periods and army men playsets for people of all ages.

Dorset Soldiers France is a specialist site that has been set up by Laurent Thiel that concentrates of the Armies of France with figures produced but Dorset Soldiers. Giles Brown has many figures in his catalogue but Laurent has decided to sell only French Soldier sets, and is initially concentrating on the Colonial Armies and include troops from North Africa, Madagascar, Senegal and Indo China and include such sets as medical orderlies, bands as well as infantry. Old Tin Soldier Shoppe is the place to go to when you are looking for some older figures from a bygone era. They are dedicated to old world soldiers with charm and "collectibility" and have 2 scouts in England (retired dealers from the old school). They make a annual pilgrimage to scour sources of old soldiers which will be family heirlooms to be loved for generations.

Ingenio en Juegos are from Argentina and produce hand painted plastic figures from the old Britains and Herald plastic of the 1960s. They have a comprehensive range of figures including cavalry, artillery and playsets and the site has on-line shopping together with an extensive links page.

Sunix Hobbies that sells mostly hand painted figures from St. Petersburg and toy soldiers from Argentina, are a newly established online metal toy soldier retailer. They have an extensive range of figures including ANT, Azimuth, Beau Geste, Kharkoff, Manes Marzano, Niene, Pegaso and Soldatos Galileo covering a vast range of eras.

Drum & Flag eBay Shop an online toy soldier shop on eBay that sells a wide variety of plastic and metal toy soldiers and related accessories. As well as being a sales site eBay provides space for members to write guides and I have done this, so far submitting 11 guides covering various aspects of collecting, painting and wargaming.

Woodrow's Toy Store is a fully stocked mail order/e-commerce business operating out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It has a huge range of 1/32 and 1/76 scale plastic figures and well as lots of other items to suit wargamers worldwide.

Steve Weston's Toy Soldiers sells Plastic Toy Soldier and Plastic Toy Figure Specialist Figure with everything for the 1/32 or 54mm Collector, as well as some 1/35th (50mm) and 1/24th. (60mm) items. They offer you a selection of some of the finest Plastic Toy soldier and Plastic Toy Figures from around the World.

Histoire et Figurines / History and Miniatures - is the best page for information on the Napoleonic era.
It has pages of uniforms from many countries with some written descriptions, but not many in English as yet. The links page is valuable to war gamers of all eras and is regularly upgraded. Recommended!

The Civil War Artillery Page - A great site for artillery of this period, and links to other ACW sites. Excellent images of guns and crews, with some uniform details too.

UBIQUE - The WWW Artillery page, many links to Artillery Units and information from around the world.

NEC PLURIBUS IMPAR This is the best site around for details on uniforms, flags and armies of the 7 Years War. It is a French site, so is dealing with the French Royal Army, but includes some details of others. Many of the articles are in English and has great illustrations. One to bookmark for revisiting as they update it each 2 moths with more articles.

An Illustrated History of Napoleonic Military Uniform John Stallaert has embarked on a monumental task of exhibiting the Uniforms of the Napoleonic Era, he has done a great job of showing the Austrian Army, and more is to follow. Be sure to visit this site and see what he is doing for those of us interested in this this colourful era. A comprehensive links list will help you get around the web to many other valuable Napoleonic sites.

The Napoleonic Wars Dominic Goh's aim is to provide the war gamer and amateur historian with an introduction to the major armies and campaigns of the Napoleonic Wars. In doing this he has established a site with information on the Battles and the Armies of the Napoleonic era. He also has an extensive links page with links to war gamers.

19th CENTURY BRITISH AND INDIAN ARMIES AND THEIR SOLDIERS is a great site with the actual photographs of the soldiers from the reign of Queen Victoria. Also features photos form the British Army of India, and is a must for all who want to see the authentic uniforms of the day.

SCOTTISH MILITARY HISTORICAL SOCIETY is the best site for anything related to Scottish Regiments. It has a great set of pages showing the tartans, a valuable resource for painting, lineage of the Regiments and many pictures.

GUNS of Western Australia

My own Artillery site which shows images of the guns that are used as memorials to the fallen soldiers in Western Australia.

Olive Drab is one of the most comprehensive military sites on the web. With both extensive original material and a large links resource they have been able to attract a steady stream of visitors. It deals with military topics of the 20th Century, hence Olive Drab was the colours of the uniforms of that century.

The Napoleonic Guide is the ultimate online reference source for people wanting to know more about the life and era of Napoleon Bonaparte. Their pages cover almost every aspect of the Napoleonic Era from Bonaparte's career, family and lovers, to his campaigns, battles and conquests. It has timelines, maps, quotes, political cartoons, caricatures, art, the entire Goya's Disasters of War series, uniform details and images, glossaries, book reviews, lyrics from military songs and a section on the naval struggle in the French Revolution and times of Napoleon Bonaparte.

The Wild West is a comprehensive site with lots of information on the history of the American West. It includes pages on Native Americans, Cowboys, and also wagon trains, railroads and much more, including a merchandise page. Be sure to check it out, if this era is of interest to you.

French Flags is a site that has most flags used by France from1789 until 1945, and is a valuable resource to anyone looking for the standards used then.

UNIFORM PAGES

UNIFORMS OF AUSTRALIAN ARMED FORCES I found an album with swap cards inside in a second hand shop, and so it can be enjoyed by both this and future generations, I decided to scan the images and reproduce the text from this 1964 publication. The cards were given away at GOLDEN FLEECE Service Stations to the children of the motorists as an incentive to buy petrol there. Both these cards and this petrol company have disappeared from the Australian scene today, as have the uniforms, but have a look at what splendid colourful uniforms were used.

This is my new site which uses the painting guides supplied with HISTOREX kits that I collected during the 1970's. I have been helped by a couple of other collectors to gain almost a full site of uniforms that show mainly the French Army of Napoleon.

Uniforms of The American Revolution Set up by 'Sons of the Revolution', this site has 50 pages of images of the uniforms used by the armies engaged in the American War of Independence, Insignia and badges of rank, Flags and battles of the war. The BEST site around for this information

US Army Insignia This site has all the insignia worn by the forces of the US from before Revolution up to the current. Includes USA and CSA of the Civil War, WW1 and 2 and Vietnam, a valuable resource for all who are interested in US forces.

British Infantry and Scottish Regiments

My website has images from a booklet from Military Modelling in 1991, showing the uniforms of British and Scottish regiments. A MUST for those who paint their own soldiers.

Schutztruppe and Uniformen der deutschen Schutztruppen
These two sites show the uniform details used by the Imperial German troops in Africa. They have some fine pictures of uniforms scanned from old books and were very helpful as painting references, but the language is in German, so if you don't understand, just check out the images.

1789-1815 has some of the best line drawings of Napoleonic Uniforms on the web. There are 12 plates of Waterloo Amies each with 16 soldiers per plate showing French, British, Dutch, Prussian, Brunswick and Nassau Armies. There are also images of re-enactors and much more, but being in French, I can't read the text. Well worth viewing, and a valuable resource.

Imperial Russian Army is a site with images and original uniforms from the Imperial Russian Army and is quite comprehensive showing weapons as well.

Prussian Military is a most comprehensive website showing Uniform Plates by H. Knötel, German Regiments in 1914, French Uniform 1690 to 1900 by Dr. Lienhart & Humbert, Napoleonic Uniforms, German Naval Uniforms and so much more. I'm sure that you will be able to find much to see in the German language site, just start learning how to find the Back Button.

Sgt. Coignet Equipe is a French site that has loads of information about Napoleonic Uniforms. It includes many of the HISTOREX Plates I have used in my Uniforms of Napoleonic Wars site, but well worth viewing.

Chakoten - Danish Military Historical Society has a new website that's worth viewing. There are some pages in English, but all are in Danish, but the information on Uniforms and Figures is well worth the visit to see what's on offer. Keep checking the site as many new articles are coming on-line soon.

British Regimental Drums and Colours in North America is a very comprehensive website showing the Kings and Regimental Colours and the drums as used by British Forces in North America from 1755 to 1783. There is also a brief history of the regiment and detailed images of both the soldier's and the drummer's lace used on their uniforms. A very valuable resource.

Uniforms of the Campaign in Belgium 1815 is a French site that is packed with plates of the Armies of the time when Napoleon returned to France, only to be defeated at Waterloo in 1815. Its a brilliant site that is ever expanding and worthwhile to bookmark.

Steadfast - Now run my RP World Models, manufactures of many soldiers, complete catalogue is on line. They manufacture some of the the best Artillery pieces available so check the new website for a wide range of figures and equipment.

Langley Miniature Models - This is the company that makes most of the castings featured on my pages. Their site now has lots of information of the soldiers, and you can order online.

Wm.Hocker A great site showing the comprehensive catalogue of the excellent Toy Soldiers finished in the distinctive style of Mr. William Britain, Jun. of London, England. These modern soldiers are of the highest quality, but are presented in turn of the century style. The site also has a great links page to all aspects of the hobby.

Norsemen Miniatures - Sigve Solberg has a great site which is showing his sculpting, casting and painting of Norwegian Soldiers from many eras. They range from Vikings through to the present day. Its well worth a look at what is coming from the only Norwegian manufacturer of toy soldiers.

Avant Garde Models For many years Avant Garde have manufactured a small but well received range of gloss painted toy soldiers. Subjects include the American Civil War, Scottish, the Balkan Wars, the World Wars and many individual items not covered by other manufacturers. Classic Toy Soldiers have a new website showing their plastic toy soldiers and other products , playsets they sell.

Bill the Bandsman makes and paints Scots Bandsmen from around the world. He is from Canada, so many of their bands feature, but also included are Commonwealth Bandsmen from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Australia, South Africa and UK. He does a great job of painting his figures, so check out his site.

BARZSO Ron Barzso has got his own website now showing all of his wonderful plastic figures of American History. He has the Last of the Mohicans, British, French troops, and Battle of New Orleans as well. Also is his new figures of the American Civil War and what will be coming in the future. A good site with lots of images and an order form to buy direct.

Drummerboy Miniatures Michael Payton in Hawaii is now making and selling a range of figures from various eras including the Zulu Wars.

Metal and Soul is a Spanish manufacturer who has featured famous figures such as WW2 Generals and Politicians, Historical Soldiers and coming soon WW1 Politicians. Have a look at this site, as they have figures that you won't find anywhere else.

CONTE COLLECTIBLES Here is the site of the latest "Shining Star" to emerge on the Toy Soldier Front. Their figures feature both plastics and hand painted connoisseur metal, from many eras beginning with the American Civil War, Zulu, War Lord and Beau Geste. They are some of the best figures available on the market today. Coming soon is British Airborne, Vikings, Normans, Confederate casualties and another 25 painted metal sets and plastic playsets of War Lord 2, Longest Day 1, The Patriot and shortly thereafter Pirates, Mask of Zorro, a couple of Westerns and Spartacus. Keep a lookout on this site for the new direction in toy soldiers.

ARMYHOUSE makes an excellent range of figures ranging from Egyptians to modern day Spanish Troops. It is based in Barcelona Spain, and has an on-line catalogue and order system. I have some of their 7 Years War Prussians and Napoleonic figures on my website, so have a look at them in detail, and see what I mean.

Jack's Scruby's Toy Soldiers Jack Scruby was one of more prolific US makers of toy soldiers and war gaming figures in the late 50s and 60s (he also pioneered the use of RTV silicone to make moulds).
Jack left a legacy and the company to his daughter, Wendy, who, along with Dan Patterson, have kept the casting machines spinning since his death in 1988. Many of the older toy and model soldier books reference Jack's extensive range of figures, which are still available from the company. Figures are available painted or as castings.

Armies In Plastic have now set up their own website. There is images of all of their range of excellent plastic figures from WW1 and now ACW and the Boxer Rebellion. Special prices are available if you order direct from this site. Have a look at my painting of the British and Scottish Troops.

East of India Company was formed in Hong Kong in the summer of 1999 and is dedicated to the production of 54mm connoisseur style figures from countries "East of India". The first range "The Shogun Collection" comprises of an extensive range of hand cast miniature figures from the Warring States Period of Japanese history. The next range "The Mandarin Collection" covering the wars in China in the late 19th
century will be launched in the later half of this year. The figures are magnificently detailed and wonderfully painted showing the magnificence of Feudal Japan, its well worth a visit to this site just to read the historical notes, as well as viewing the figures.

PNF has an range of high quality 100% Australian made 54mm figurines depicting the Defence forces of the Commonwealth and other Countries. They are unique in clarity, features with exclusive productivity - proper coat of arms and drum cords on our drums and material screen printed flags, not paper. Lead Warrior Eduard Kasinsev has set up this site showing his historical miniatures which range from Ancients through Medieval to Napoleonics and Russians. They are very detailed figures and well worth your visit.

Homegrown Miniatures master sculptor Col Darrell Combs USMC (Ret) captures the romanticism and glory of military history with the brutal and harsh reality of armed conflict in fine miniature detail. They have Museum quality 25mm, 54mm, 90mm, 120mm, 200mm historically accurate miniatures. they're are some great unique figures here, so have a look.

DeGree Miniatures come from Malta, the island in the Mediterranean, and David Grech has figures that are unique and never been seen before on the market, Soldiers who served on the island. They range from mid 18th century until the 1970's. there is a very extensive historical background also available on this site to complement the figures.

ZINNFIGUREN AND ENGRAVINGS OF VLADIMIR NUZHDIN If you haven't seen Flat Figures, this is site to see, Valdimir shows his wonderful workmanship of a true craftsman. He has figures of Scots, Russian Characters and some military, and it is a site worth viewing just to see the details in his castings, and the finished painted figures.

Tradition of London is one of the major manufactures of toy soldiers in UK and a visit to London is not complete without going to Mayfair to see the shop. I visited there last year and was made most welcome by the Manager Steve hare and the staff. I was amazed by the number of soldiers exhibited in the tiny shop, and more so by the rows of Charles Stadden castings on parade in their basement / dispatch office. The website is still to fully take shape, but if you can't go to London (right now) pay the site a visit.

Shenandoah Minatures have been featured on my website for some time. Paul Clarke in Australia makes THE BEST American Civil War figures that are available. The fine details in the sculpting and clean crisp casting make these kits a work of art. They are constructed with fully interchangeable heads and arms and if there is a figure you want, and it isn't in the catalogue, Paul will put the parts together to get what you want. be sure to check out his new site.

CBG MIGNOT In case you didn't know France's premier toy soldier manufacturer has a website that shows many of the figures and ranges that they are famous for. In fact they have about 4000 figures on their books, with more released each month, so have a look at what's on offer.

Trebuchets Store has working scale models of Trebuchets that will grace any medieval battle. What are Siege Engines? Well, centuries before the practical use of gunpowder, ancient armies employed artillery against castles and fortifications using enormous throwing machines powered by humans, twisted cord, bent wood and metal, or gravity. Ingenious and varied in their designs, these great machines, or engines, hurled large stone balls and flaming tar to breach castle walls and set fire to interior buildings.

Hampton Miniatures manufacture and sell 54mm, hand painted toy soldiers and collectibles and have sets covering the Revolutionary war, Civil war, and many other period pieces. These are wonderfully gloss painted figures in the traditional style and they also have a beautiful line of Victorian era Christmas figures.

John Eden Studios is the new new website of this unique maker and the of home of Rose Miniatures, and the wonderful figures originally sculpted by Russell Gammage will now be available from John. He will be developing new figures as well as casting Rose, so check out these figures, and the catalogue of all the figures.

Sineus Miniatures is a new manufacturer of figures from Russia. Their main interests are mostly concerns Russian war history, and have a great range of mounted and foot figures which have been extensively researched to produce these excellent figures.

Barcelona Universal Models is a Spanish company that specialises in plastic figures from many eras. They produce 1/32 and 1/72 scale figures, as well as other products such as slot cars and model aircraft.

Italeri is the website of the Italian Manufacturer of plastic kits and toy soldiers both 1/32 and 1/72 scale.

Dorset Soldiers have been producing toy style 54mm lead soldiers for collections since 1976. They offer everything from a spare part to repair a wounded 'old soldier', through castings for you to complete to your own individual taste, and of course, painted figures in a traditional style, both boxed and unboxed to suit your needs.

The Warrior Irish presents a range that spans the many historical ages of the Irish fighting man, from the time of the chariot-riding Heroes to the bloody conflicts of the twentieth century. Historically accurate, and unique in its presentation, each set reflects the vital essence of the Irish soldier throughout history.

Art.I.G started as Gjuss, a manufacturer from Latvia and produces high quality figures from Napoleonics, Russians and Roman eras. Its a company that specialise in the production of high quality collectable toy soldiers and historic miniatures. They are available as painted figures or as kits.

King and Country has developed into one of the world's major designers and producers of all-metal, hand-painted 1:32 scale military and civilian miniatures. In addition to their metal miniatures figures, the company has also developed an amazing and expanding range of scale model buildings, fighting vehicles and tanks, ships and aircraft, all made of polyresin. Their figures range from Romans and old China trough Napoleonic, American Rev War and Civil War to Vietnam and Afghanistan.

Hornet and Wolf were new to me until I was sent some of their American Civil War figures to paint for a collector. The figures were very well detailed and were a combination of resin and metal. I have recently found their website and see the full range of figures available, ranging from Napoleonic and American Civil War in 1/32 scale and WW2 figures in 1/35.

Baueda is a manufacturer of fine tabletop wargame accessories, they have just started out so there are only a few items in the catalogue so far, but it's growing fast and will be expanded constantly! So far they are concentrating on 15mm & 20mm scales, but if you see the workmanship of these walls, tents and fortifications, and ask for 54mm, I'm sure the demand will get some of that scale made as well.

Replicants is a company which produces unpainted plastic toy figures in 1/32 scale. Their figures range from Medieval, Napoleonic, Wild West, American Civil War and also have a range of Swoppit spare parts. be sure to check out the site frequently for new additions to their unique range.

Soldatos Galileo is an Argentine maker of figures from Argentina's past, South American History as well as smaller scale wargaming figures. There are painted figures as well as castings available, and the website is organised into the various historical eras with the appropriate soldiers.

Red Scorpio is an Argentine maker of plastic figures from the Britains Moulds of Detail and Herald ranges. These are now available direct from the maker, so if you are seeking repacement figures for an old set, or wish to have them in your collection, check out this great new website. There are other figures not Britains, some which are new to me too.

Fusilier Miniatures produces traditionally hand painted 54mm toy soldiers. It is a long established company, purchased by Paul and Mark Turner. The Fusilier range is wide and varied, including WW1, WW2, US Civil War, Civilian ARP (Air Raid Precaution), Foreign Legion, Indian Army and more.

British Toy Soldier Company was founded in 2000 and has set itself the goal of producing superior quality metal toy soldiers, returning to the standards the have been lost with the wide spread use of mass production.

Asset Miniatures is an established company run by Anne and Colin Randall from their base in Harrow, Middlesex; making 54mm metal figures. Our motto is that we are in enthusiasts who cater for other enthusiasts. The range as seen in our attached catalogue covers most armed services from 1900 to date, ceremonial, police and civilian figures.

Metal Modeles, specialist in white metal miniature kits. Their figures catalogue for collectors is mainly dedicated to the soldiers of Napoleon’s "Grande Armée", the brave "grognards" of the Empire battlefields.

Gun-Ho Collectibles, maker of quality plastic toy soldiers here in Australia. They mail order most major brands of plastic toy soldiers from makers around the world. Also they have old toy soldiers such as Timpo, Britains, Lone Star, Cresent, etc. As they grow they will try and compliment both plastics and metal range of figures.

Jean BARRIERE is a producer of flats, 30 mm flat figures, and has a large range of figures from ancient, through medieval and many for the Napoleonic era. The figures are sold in sets, and some individual, in both castings and painted, so this is a site to see another type of toy soldier.

Regiment Soldiers produces a new range of British Guards ceremonial soldiers and Chinese characters. Its a very new company and is making very high standard gloss finish troops that will grace any parade ground. The fine detailed of the painting as well as the sculpting make them in the forefront of quality produced figures today.

Hermes-Russia is another company based in St Petersburg that is producing finely detailed painted figures. The eras produced range from Greek and Roman to 18 century, and the work from Arg and Azimuth Studios are well worth your inspection.

J G Miniatures is the company of John Gittins, Sculptor and Model Maker who produces a wonderful range of architectural structures, buildings, trenches, fortifications and natural features such as rivers and vegetation to make any sort of diorama for you soldiers to be displayed. he is adding new features regularly, so check out what is available.

TinBay is a Russian company, that sells on Ebay, and produces a very extensive range of figures, ranging from Ancient to medieval, Samurai and onto hundreds of Napoleonic. There figures are amongst the finest that I have seen, being individually assembled and painted to a very high standard, so explore their on line catalogue and see what's there.

Manes Marzano Collection is a new maker from Argentina that has a varied range of figures, many of which are not made by anyone else. The range includes Historical Figures such as Landsknecht and American Civil War, a new series of Dervishes on camels, and metal toy soldiers in 54mm of Napoleonic, American Civil and Crimean Wars. If you are looking for something different check this one out.

El Templario is another new Argentine maker that make a vast range of traditional style toy soldiers from various eras, and regions, including South America and Europe. There is also a very comprehensive page dedicated to the history of Toy Soldiers, as well as Argentine Toy Soldier history, and extra images of some of the figures, so you can see the details and packaging.

GBE Toy Soldiers provide the serious collector of Traditional Toy Soldiers with a vast range of over 800 different figures covering the British army at home and of the empire during the period of the 1890's to 1914. This internationally acclaimed range of figures has had its hallmark from the beginning, the classic red & yellow boxes. An aspect of their work is the repair and restoration of Old Toy Soldiers they can offer an extensive spare parts service and the repair of figures, so check the website for details.

MUNDIART Miniaturas is a Spanish company dedicated in fabricating soldiers of all armies in different sizes. They include historical periods of samurai, Incas, Mayas, Aztecs, Medieval, Napoleonic, American, Italian, personality figures, Spanish armies, etc.

Every Single Soldier makes some very unique figures, sold as chess sets, from the Anglo Boer War. In addition to these figures, there are model kits of artillery from this conflict. The all South African website for metal models of the Boer War.

Aleksey Gulin from St-Petersburg Russia has set up a site to show off some his new Napoleonic Era Russian Hussars. For information, images and the chance to buy them, go to this site

CORGI the famous British maker of diecast vehicles has expanded its quality range to now include 1/32 scale military figures. This range is titled "Forward march" and the figures are centred on WW2 and feature individual figures as well as 6 piece sets and comes from CORGI-USA so have a look at these accurately detailed.

Gary Hunt has recently started up his own 54mm toy soldier company and so far manufactures Samurai, Zulu, WW1, South Americans New Zealand Wars and Pacific Islanders ( also have some sci/fi stuff). The figure kits are cast in Pewter and are quite unique, so check them out soon.

Helmet Soldiers has a range comprising 30 easily assembled 1:32 (54mm) plastic kits that will appeal to modellers and war gamers alike. The Napoleonic Wars feature prominently, but there are two representatives from the Crimean era. The kits are mostly cavalry models, but some infantry figures are also available. Although they have been around for a number of years HELMET has been one of the best kept secrets in the world of toy soldiers.

Sineus Studio is one of the leading maker in Russia, producing unique and world-famous Petersburg style of historic tin miniatures. The range of figures extends from Ancients to Napoleonic and feature some wonderful fine detailed painted individual figures, or sets.

MATTHIAS-MANSKE, SOLID LEAD TOY SOLDIERS produces a range of 40mm figures comprising the (European) armies in the Age of Reason - in the middle of the 18th century in the tradition of Nuremberg. Common cuts of the uniforms during this period allow the representation of most of the military conflicts between 1740 and 1790 so the figures can be of the armies of Prussia, Bavaria, Austria, France, Russia, as well as the American Revolutionary War.

Alexander's Toy Soldiers creates fine 54mm hand painted figures in traditional gloss finish . They also produce vignettes and charming scenes, vehicles, civilian and military and can undertake special commissions. The Napoleonic era is the bulk of the production, but Crimean War, Policemen, Lancers, Coronation sets and some American Civil War are all represented. I have a few of these wonderful figures in my collection, and can highly recommend them to you.

Toysoldiers.com.ar offer all of kind of plastic toy soldiers, especially Britains re-issue made in Argentina, amongst other fantastic items. They have Vikings, Romans, Wild West, as well as Napoleonic and Modern.

Black Cat Miniatures is new company established by Scott Odden who is a very enthusiastic collector and painter who has sculpts and makes his own range of figures. The first range is Russian Infantry and Artillery c 1812 and they are available as castings or painted figures and feature some of the widest range of gunners available. Well worth checking this one out if you are looking for Napoleonic Era figures, as well as his range of plastics for sale.

Admiralty Ship Models although not in strict terms is a toy soldier maker, but I was most impressed with the craftsmanship of the ships, that I think it deserves to be included in my links. There are some wonderful models on display on this site, and its credit to the makers to be able to have such fine details shown in a wide range of sailing ships.

White Tower Miniatures and a brand new company making figures with a mix of traditional and new styling, they use four sculptors in the UK and have four ranges, Legends of Sherwood, Normans, Legends of the West and English Civil War. Check out their new website for some wonderful figures in various animated poses and keep a lookout for new figures next month.

King and Country UK as well as selling the Hong Kong based figures have an exclusive range of figures themselves based on incidents in the Crimean War. The Neville Family business also organise and run the London Toy Soldier Shows which are a highlight of the collecting year so if you are close by, or far away like me, make the 'pilgrimage'. You can even see me on their own Toy Soldier TV page form the March 2008 show!

Alliage de Qualité is a company offering a unique range of Napoleonic era figures, in both painted and as castings. Whats different with these figures is that they have some armies not normally avaiable, such as Portugues, Austarian, French Light Infantry and Prussian Landwher. They are working towards developing new types of products, new collections at different scales and currently working on the Medieval Age, the American Civil War and the Roman Empire.

Fleurbaix Toy Soldiers started production in 2008, by Greg Simon making 54mm scale miniatures that are hand painted to the standard that he would want in our own collection. The company is situated on coastal South Australia, and Greg has have been producing figures for over 25 years and can offer the quality of these years to the commercial market. He recently purchased moulds from the following makers, Music in Miniature, Rosedale, Toy Army Workshop, J G Miniatures, Mountford Metal Miniatures, Ward Toy Soldiers, V C Miniatures, Battlezone, HM of GB, (some of) Tommy Atkins, (some of) John Eden Studios so keep a lookout on his site as they become available again.

Bear's Knights is a Russian company from St Petersburg that makes figures from a wide range of eras, from Ancient, through Medieval to Napoleonic and Russian and all painted to a very high standard.

Golden Chersonese Miniatures was set up in Singapore as an artistic endeavour to produce a unique range of stylized metal miniatures to portray exotic, lost kingdoms and unusual cultures from this part of the world. The first two Series and sets are based on the Indonesian Islands and the Bali Series offers various sets of gamelan orchestras, dancers and performers depicting the various dance and drama performances. The 2nd set of figures are based on court costumes from the Kraton or court of Yogyakarta, in cental Java. This series will feature stately and processional themes. Sets will be developed around the Sultan’s court and a most magnificent gamelan orchestra set. For something REALLY different have a look at this ever expanding new website.

Walkerloo Toy Soldiers are paper soldiers for the 21st Century. They are expressive, historically accurate illustrations mounted on to both sides of thick durable re-cycled card. So far there are toy soldiers from 10 different regiments who fought at the battle of Waterloo, and more to come, so check out this other medium for some great figures.

BOOKS AND MAGAZINES

A brilliant magazine from Britain only on toy soldiers. This site has a preview of the latest issue, back issues, figures for sale, and in issue 17 in April 1998 - "MY ON LINE GALLEY" Be sure to check it out!

World Toy Soldier Directory and Compendium a comprehensive 170-page international where-to-find-it" source book for the toy soldier collecting hobby. Now released, have a look at the website this book is be a valuable source of reference for the hobby. I have reviewed this book, please have a look at my review, you will want to get your own copy too. The site has lots of current news about the hobby, show dates and new products, join their mailing list to keep up to date with our hobby.

Toy Soldiers & Collectibles Magazine Toy Soldiers and Collectibles is the only Full Colour Magazine devoted to the world of Plastic Toy Soldiers. We cover Marx, Imex, Accurate, A Call to Arms, CTS, Timpo, Hat Industrie and more. The latest in accessories for Toy Soldiers is an exciting part of the magazine. Published Quarterly.

Flintlock Publishing produce sets of postcards that depict the Uniforms of British Soldiers over the centuries. I can sincerely recommend then as a valuable resource to all who research this subject, and paint their own soldiers.

Compagnie d’Elite is a wonderful site that exhibits Napoleonic Uniform Plates, these are produced by Peter Schuchhardt, in Germany, and are a great aid in painting your own figures and wanting to get it right.

Plastic Warrior is a glossy magazine published six times per year, distributed in 30 different countries around the world, also providing a range of special issues and manufacturers checklists devoted to plastic toy soldiers and model figures.

John Tunstill's - World of Model Soldiers John ran a Model soldier shop 'Soldiers' in London for many years and also designed and produced a range of metal figured (Soldiers' Soldiers) between 1977 and 1986. The website contains listings of his production plus excerpts from his book "The World of Model Soldiers".

Regiment Magazine is not back on sale with a new publisher. This bi-monthly publication deals with the history of British Regiments and is an invaluable resource to modellers and historians. You can subscribe on-line, so you do not miss an issue.

Alix Baker is an internationally known and collected artist/historian working full time for regiments, museums and on official and private commissions and is said to be the leading person in the country in her particular genre of military art. I have some of her fine work in postcards and prints and use them as a valuable uniform resource while painting my toy soldiers. Check out her site and see her wonderful work, and I'm sure you will find something that will be interest.

Toy Soldier Collector is published bi-monthly (by KRM Publishing Ltd) and features informative news and reviews sections as well as in-depth articles on makers, dealers, collectors and every other aspect of this fascinating hobby. It only covers toy soldiers, sorry but no action figures or kits, they leave that for the other specialist magazines.

OSPREY Publishing is the leading publisher of Military History Book, which are a valuable resource to me with my painting of toy soldiers of all eras, I couldn't be able to reproduce the accurate uniforms with out them.

MOULDS AND CASTING

Dutkins This site has many pages listing the products sold, but also the range of 'LIL ARMY moulds.
There is an extensive range of many eras and if you wish to cast your own army I can recommend their moulds.

The Dunken Company - Are a supplier of Prince August in the USA. They are in Texas, but have a look at their site and see what else is available. They have pages of hints for casting as well

SYNAIR Corporation manufactures easy-to-use room temperature curing urethane rubber and silicone mould-making systems, casting resins, release agents, pigments, fillers, and much more. I will be reviewing their products soon when I create some of my own moulds of toy soldiers, but have a look at this site, its very comprehensive and may interest those of you who want to cast your own.

JACOBERGER in France has moulds for sale on this site. Featured are the German moulds "Meisterzinn", which is shown extensively on the catalogue pages.

Miniature Moulds has loads of moulds for sale illustrated together with tips, materials for casting and making moulds. One of the best site for "make your own" soldiers.

Hofman Zinnfiguren is a site from Nuremberg , Germany where they show metal miniatures, flats and round both painted and unpainted. There is a complete catalogue of Meisterzinn Moulds for those who want to cast their own armies. Well worth a look at especially the images of the flats.
